TRAVEL

FLYING TO GLASGOW
Glasgow can be reached easily from three airports:

- Glasgow airport is 25 minutes by shuttle bus from the city centre.

- Prestwick, the only place Elvis Presley ever set foot in the UK, takes between 40-55 minutes by train to Central Station. Note, unlike everyone else, Ryanair likes to call it Glasgow PIK.

- From Edinburgh Airport to Glasgow's Buchanan Street Bus Station the Citylink coach takes approximately an hour and the service runs every 30 minutes.

TRAINS TO GLASGOW
Glasgow's two main stations are Queen Street and Central, and are located within a five minute walk of each other.

BUS SERVICES
Coaches arrive and depart from Buchanan Street Bus Station, which is close to Queen Street and the Citizen M Hotel. The airport shuttle also ends here.

DRIVING
The M8 motorway goes through the middle of the city, but for the uninitiated, navigating central Glasgow's one-way streets can be quite taxing. However, Drygate's website does offer a route planner which includes an option for drivers. Click on the Get Directions link and enter the postcode of your starting point.
